We would like to inform you of a significant and comprehensive update to the IHOS Cloud platform scheduled to occur between July 30, 2025, and August 3, 2025. This update marks an important milestone in our ongoing efforts to improve the reliability, transparency, and functionality of the services we provide.
It will introduce critical updates to our platform policies, including the introduction of a formal suspended server policy, and the upcoming launch of new chat features within our official IHOS Cloud Discord server.
This announcement provides a thorough explanation of the forthcoming changes, their rationale, the expected impact on your service usage, and what actions you may need to take.

The current update focuses on two main areas:
Suspended Server Policy
Introduction of a comprehensive policy to clearly define how suspended servers are handled, retention timelines, and user responsibilities.
Discord Chat Features
Preparation for new chat functionality integrated into our official Discord server with dedicated Chat Policy.
Servers may be suspended for a variety of reasons, including but not limited to:
- User inactivity or failure to meet minimum usage requirements
- Violation of IHOS Cloud's Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service
- Billing issues such as overdue payments
- Security concerns or detection of suspicious activity
2.1 Visibility and Dashboard Access
When a server is suspended, it will remain visible within your IHOS Cloud control panel for a designated grace period. During this time, you will have access to important metadata about the suspended server, such as configuration details, resource allocation, and usage statistics.
2.2 Suspension Access Restrictions
While suspended, the server itself will be non-operational:
- All running processes will be halted
- Network connectivity will be disabled
- Remote and local access to the server will be suspended
- No changes to server data or configuration can be made during this period
2.3 Notification and Communication
IHOS Cloud will send automated notifications to the email address associated with your account, as well as dashboard alerts, informing you of the suspension status, reasons for suspension, the length of the grace period, and the timeline for potential deletion.
Grace Period: 14 Days
2.4 Appeal and Restoration Process
If you believe the suspension was in error or wish to resolve the issues leading to suspension, you may submit an appeal or restoration request by contacting IHOS Cloud support. Appeals should be made promptly, preferably within the grace period.
2.5 User Responsibilities
Important: Data Backup Responsibility
To improve support responsiveness and foster community interaction, IHOS Cloud is preparing to launch enhanced chat capabilities within the official IHOS Cloud Discord server.
3.1 New Chat Functionality
- Real-time chat options for direct communication with IHOS Cloud support staff
- Community interaction channels for users to communicate among themselves
- Separate channels dedicated to technical support, feature requests, announcements, and general discussion
- Faster, more direct assistance and collaborative community building
3.2 Chat Policy Overview
To ensure that the new chat environment remains productive, respectful, and secure, IHOS Cloud will introduce a formal Chat Policy addressing:
- Appropriate behavior and content guidelines
- Procedures for moderation and enforcement of chat rules
- Message retention, privacy, and data processing practices
- Guidelines regarding the use of bots and automated messages
- Mechanisms for reporting violations and handling disputes
Existing Users:
Continue to utilize your IHOS Cloud services normally. If you have any servers that have been suspended, please review the relevant notifications on your dashboard and email promptly. Contact support to appeal or reactivate services before the grace period expires.
New Users:
You will be required to agree to the updated Terms of Service, which incorporate these new policies, upon account creation.
Community Members:
Prepare to engage with the new Discord chat features by familiarizing yourself with the forthcoming Chat Policy to ensure positive and compliant participation.
